BCDS Database 2008 Version

The new database is now available for purchase. It incorporates many of the features of the old database but provides much greater versality permitting users to alter existing batteries, devise their own batteries of allergens. There is complete flexibility when it comes to recording non-standard allergens. Any item including patients own cosmetics or constituents to be listed.
It provides the ability to print off batteries for preliminary paper based recording. Individualised patient reports together with relevant patient information leaflets can be produced. In addition a full range of battery reports can be produced listing the results for batteries over specified time periods are easily produced. There is also the ability to produced customised reports for research.
Unfortunately, due to an entirely different database structure it is not possible for users of the previous versions of the BCDS database to import their existing data into the latest version, you will need to maintain this as a separate record.
